Historic Hayle Harbour

Facilities

We welcome you to Hayle Harbour and will do our utmost to accommodate you.

Visiting Vessels
Regular visitors to the port are various dive teams from around the UK, motor cruisers and sailing yachts. We have a variety of berths on offer from 6m & 10m Pontoons to wall moorings. We are however a drying harbour so not as suitable for single keel vessels that cannot take to the bottom. Unfortunately, we do not currently have shore power or facilities on site. There is however a Fuel station 100m from the Harbour Office.

Moorings
There is currently no waiting list for Penpol moorings, these moorings are only suitable for vessels under 6m. Wall moorings on all Quays currently have a waiting list, minimum vessel length of 6m. Moorings are allocated by the Harbour Master and are subject to change at the Harbour Masters discretion.

Slipway
Our main slipway is situated in front of the Harbour Office on North Quay. This slipway is open to the public subject to payment and compliance with our Slipway T&Cs. During the summer months we often have a pontoon next to the main slipway to make launch and recovery that much easier.

Dry Berthing
We have various locations on site suitable for Dry Berthing, However these book-up fast especially in the winter months. Berthing locations can be booked in advance.

Parking
Parking for mooring holders is usually available on the quay where the vessel is moored.
